NCDA's Facilitating Career Development

This course is a training requirement that can lead to a credentialing through the National Career Development Association. A certificate of completion is awarded after successful completion of this course but does not guarantee credentialing; that requires an separate application process post-course.

Students who finish this course increase or ensure their eligibility toward career counseling credentials offered by NCDA and other credentialing agencies.

• All competencies covered with emphasis on theory, bias, systemic barriers, and counseling skills.
• 24 hours face-to-face, synchronous online interactions required by NCDA standards. 
• Meetings are 7 - 10 EST Mondays unless other time agreed upon by all participants. No synchronous course meetings at the end of December/beginning of January; Total of 8 meetings (24 hours)
